I have many questions….

Are you on the precipice of joining 13 Stripes? Have you said to yourself, or someone else in your life “I’m thinking about joining the local fitness box.”? Have you scheduled your No Sweat (And, for the record, unless you’re a nervous sweater, it’s literally NO SWEAT) Intro and then not shown up out of fear that Joleen and Leighton might be pushy? They’re not, by the way. I wouldn’t have joined if they were. Just sayin’. Have you thought “Man, that Elena sure can write a good blog. I’d like to meet her,” and then changed your mind because it would mean coming in for the No Sweat Intro you scheduled but might be afraid to come to?

Listen, folks…. if you think for one second that you need to “get ready” or “get in shape” to join 13 Stripes fitness let me be perfectly clear. You DON’T. Not even kidding. You see, that’s what we’re here for. That’s what the coaches are here for. They HELP you get into the best shape of your life.

Now, don’t get me wrong… it doesn’t happen overnight but every single day I go to the gym or I watch what I eat (yes, I did eat two chocolate cookies at my Mom’s earlier) or drink water instead of soda I FEEL better. I know I’m doing better. I know I’m healthier than the day I was before. I’m certainly healthier than I was last month. And the month before that. And the month before that. You get my point.

So, tell me… what’s holding you back? Seriously. I know you’re reading this right now thinking “How does she know what I’m thinking?” or “How does she know I’m sitting in a bean bag chair eating Cheetos?” (Extra points if you get the movie reference)

I am so proud of myself for how far I have come. I really am. Complimenting myself like that doesn’t come easy. You are so worth it. You are so worth how GOOD you can be. You are so worth seeing the difference in your body, your strength, your weight and, best of all, your confidence.

So… ask me questions. Ok, ok… I want to know you’re reading this blog, too… but really. I want you to ask me questions. I want you to ask all the questions you might be afraid to ask so I can honestly answer you. Obviously money and technical stuff like “How can I lift 350 lbs over my head?” will have to come from Leighton or Joleen but for the most part, I can answer all the scary ‘What’s it like’ questions. Come on!! You’ve got nothing to lose but a bit of curiosity.

No worries. I’ll wait. 😉
